I had asked this question a while back but wanted more suggestions and what not before i started working on it ^.^ A young boy named Amaterasu Mori (or Amu) lives in a small village in the middle of no-where surrounded by swamps. One night the moon turns red and man eating demons descend from the swamp to prey on the villagers, many of them appearing to be villagers themselves. Amu and his sister Shiki are kidnapped by Ryu Nowaki a friend, villager, and bloodthirsty demon seeking revenge on Amu for wronging him in the past. Amu is locked in a cell deep within a secret torture chamber and is forced to watch Ryu kill his sister. A demon then appears before Amu and offers to give him enough strength to save his sister in exchange for his soul. Amu agrees, breaking free from his cell and killing Ryu only to discover Shiki has been killed anyway. When he confronts the demon he says that he gave him the strength to save his sister but he didn't act quickly enough. The demon then proceeds to take Amu's soul, turning him into a demon and branding him with a curse mark on his back. When Amu finally arrives back at the village he finds that everyone has been killed and he tries to find help only to collapse from exhaustion in a populated city a few hours later. With no family to go back to 13 year old Amu is questioned by police then sent to an orphanage for gifted children. I was planning on making this a yaoi, amu will most likely fall in love with one of the boys at the orphanage (yaoi ftw :)) so what do you think ill be posting the pages on deviant art ^.^...
